Dress Rehearsals

Beginning today (Tuesday, Oct. 26) we will be having dress rehearsals every night this week (Tuesday-Friday) starting at 6:00PM sharp.  Saturday rehearsal will begin at 9:00 sharp.  Hair and makeup do not need to be done until next Tuesday.

And, THURSDAY, OCT. 28 we will have our photographer taking individual photos.  Please come on time and dressed.  Only light makeup is needed (no stage makeup).

Rehearsal Tonight

There has been some questions as to which soldiers need to show up tonight for rehearsal. If you are a cast member and auditioned to be in the play, we need you at rehearsal tonight for the party scene (soldiers, Lieutenant, party guests, etc.). If you are from the Kenwood I or Grandview II Young Men, we do NOT need you tonight, but we will need you Saturday morning. Also, all children's choir needs to be here as well.

We will be running ACT I tonight, beginning at 6:00! We will be running the full show Saturday, beginning at 9:00!

Mandatory Meeting

This Tuesday, Oct. 19 we need everyone to show up at 6:00 pm at the stake center.
We will be having a meeting for parents and cast members about hair and makeup. Your child should have brought home a flier last week with this information.
We will also be rehearsing all of ACT II following that meeting.

As well, we are getting into running the entire show and we need everyone there for the remaining rehearsals-every Tuesday and Thursday beginning at 6:00 pm and Saturdays beginning at 9:00 am. If you cannot make it, we need an email telling us why and exactly when you'll be gone. It is getting down to crunch time and we really need every one's help and support!

We do appreciate everyone and all that you've been doing. Each of you make this musical the amazing experience that it is! Thank you!!!!

**HAIR & MAKEUP MEETING**

We will have a short meeting for parents on Tuesday, Oct 19th at 6pm.


The meeting will be conducted by Camaret Clarkson, who is in charge of hair and makeup for the musical. She will give instructions on how to style your child’s hair and what makeup they should wear.

Oct. 14 Rehearsal

Information for tomorrow's (Oct. 14) rehearsal:

6-7: Children's choir. We will be running through all songs and working on blocking.
6-7: Photo shoot for: Von Trapp children, Maria, Captain, Elsa, Max, Mother Abbess, Sister Margaretta, Sister Berthe, Sister Sophia, Frau Schmidt, Franz, Rolf
7-8/8:30: Running ACT II sc. v: Von Trapp children, Max, Captain, Maria, Zeller, Schreiber, Franz, Schmidt, Rolf


For the Von Trapp girls, please have your hair curled and let down for photos, all men/boys please comb and part your hair to one side. Women please have your hair down. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me (wilfordstakemusical@gmail.com).

6-7: Children's Choir. We will be blocking and reviewing songs
7-8: ACT II sc. iii & sc. iv (Abbess, Sophia, Berthe, Margaretta, Maria, Captain, Von Trapp children, nuns)
8-9: ACT II sc. vi-festival (soldiers, Max, Maria, von Trapp children, Captain)

Also, please remember to bring your t-shirt forms if you want one!!
